Fire at Rochester Hills McDonald’s

On Sunday, November 14, 2010 at 4:14 P.M. Rochester Hills Fire Department, assisted by Rochester Fire Department, responded to a fire at McDonald’s on Rochester Road.  The first arriving units reported heavy smoke coming from the building, and crews entered to find fire in the cooking area.  Firefighters were able to contain the fire to the area of origin.   

The Fire Department remained on-scene into the evening hours investigating.  The cause of this fire remains under investigation however the cause is not suspicious in nature.  The restaurant will be closed while clean-up operations occur.
