Rochester Hills City Hall will offer its annual flu and pneumonia shot clinic this Friday, September 28 at city hall, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive.
Cost per immunization is $25 for flu shots, $30 for flu mist, and $70 for a pneumonia shot. Hours are 9 a.m.-noon.
The Visiting Nurse Association, which is conducting the clinic, accepts Medicare Part B, BCN, HAP (except Cigna plans), Priority Health, Health Plus of Michigan and most Blue Cross plans. Insurance cards must be presented at time of service.

The US Department of Health and Human Services says everyone over 6 months of age should get an annual flu shot. This year’s vaccine will include protection for the predicted seasonal flu strains as well as H1N1. The pneumonia vaccine is recommended once for adults age 65 and older. It is also recommended for younger people with risk factors.
