Former Rochester Newcomer Club Has a New Name

The former “Newcomers Club of Rochester” has expanded to better reflect the ever-changing community of Greater Rochester.  The club is excited to announce that it has a new name and a new mission as “The Newcomers and Neighbors Club of Greater Rochester.”  Why the change?  For over 50 years, it has been the mission of the club to welcome new residents to our area.  However, as the face of our community has changed over the past few years, the club has seen interest in membership from long-time residents as well. Alluring activities such as the Mom & Tots Group, Ladies on the Go, and Pub Nights have made it a perfect situation to introduce new residents and current community alike to new friendships and social activities with others who share interests. Along with the new name, the club’s website has a new face as well at The website is updated often with information about the club, upcoming events, and what’s going on in the community.
