Four Avondale School District elementary students place in the TOP 100 at the MAEA Conference

The Michigan Art Education Association (MAEA) announced its 2016 TOP 100 elementary-aged artist last week naming four Avondale School District elementary students including one student who ranked in the TOP 15. The MAEA recognized the work of Kindergartener Jordan Smith from Auburn Elementary in Auburn Hills; along with fifth-grader Jessica Chan, third-grader Noah Fields, and fifth-grader Dehlila Dahms from Deerfield Elementary in Rochester Hills. In addition, Dehlila also placed in the Top 15 – the highest honor awarded in the elementary-aged division.
