Local musician David Thomas will be playing an assortment of instruments to entertain and reminisce with a free concert in the Story Garden at Cranberry Lake Farm, 388 W. Predmore, Oakland 48363 on Friday, June 23, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
David Thomas is a multi-instrumentalist and singer, playing mainly the trumpet, piano, flute, and piccolo. David currently teaches trumpet lessons at the Rochester Conservatory of Music. He is in the process of recording his own albums that will feature all of his original songs on which he performs every instrument played. He has also played at the Village Concert Series, many jazz hot spots including the Dirty Dog Jazz Café, Cliff Bells, the Detroit Jazz Festival, and the Michigan Jazz Festival.
Rain location will be held inside the Flumerfelt Barn.
