Free open house at Optimal Health Solutions: Jan. 14

Optimal Health Solutions, LLC is ready to help you kick off 2014 with the best plan for a healthier you.

Certified in nutrition—among many other specialties like exercise physiology—Nancy Raymond, MSMS, MS, RDN, FAARFM,  has recently expanded her operation to a new location.

Now found at 1460 Walton Blvd., Suite 220 in Rochester Hills, the team wants to celebrate with you.

You are invited to visit Optimal Health Solutions for a free open house on Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Guests can sample healthy food and listen to talks on a slew of topics from how to relieve stress to building fitness goals to neurotransmitters in your brain.

There will be raffles and giveaways for all participants, too.

But the move to a new spot was just the beginning of several changes in place for Optimal Health Solutions.

Some of Raymond’s plans for the upcoming year include expanding wellness and weight loss programs.

“Lifestyle medicine is proving to be more effective than medication for optimizing health and reversing disease… and the need is so great right now,” she said.

“There is such an explosion of chronic disease, even in young adults and sometimes in children in the United States.  This is powerful medicine… and the power comes in the knowledge and skills that we can give patients around nutrition, exercise and lifestyle change,” Raymond said.

She has several other projects in the works, too, which include virtual education, pediatric exercise programs, corporate health plans, work exploring the interactions of genomics and diet as well as collaborating with local organic farms and more.

“Optimal Health Solutions’ goal in 2014 is to become a resource for our patients and the community for other health resource referrals as well,” Raymond said.
