Ever wonder how to get something done?
Thanks to a generous donation, the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library (RHPL) Fall Used Book Sale has an unusually large selection of “How To” books on how to draw and how to paint along with instruction books on sculpture, pottery, stained glass, and other crafts. Also donated were lots of woodworking books.
This is in addition to the usual fine selection of over 30,000 books, both fiction and non-fiction, along with DVDs, CDs, audio books, puzzles, and games.
The event is on the second floor used book room at the main library at 500 Olde Towne Road in downtown Rochester. It opens with a pre-sale for members of the Friends of the RHPL on Wednesday, October 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Memberships may be purchased or renewed at the door.
The sale is open to the public on:
- Thursday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Friday, October 21, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, October 22, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Sunday October 23, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Sunday is Bag Day; all you can fit in a paper grocery bag for $5.
Note: Book sale hours differ slightly from Library operations hours; all proceeds go to the Rochester Hills Public Library.
