Friends of the Library Stages Big Kids Book Sale

Thursday, July 15, and Friday, July 16, the Friends of the Rochester Hills Public Library will stage a large Sidewalk Sale consisting totally of used children’s books. It’ll all be outside the Library’s West Entrance at 500 Olde Towne in downtown Rochester from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

An adult woman and young girl read a book together in bed.

Just kids books — everything from board books for the youngest to tomes for middle and teen level readers — will be sold for the rock-bottom price of 50 cents each.

“We have been overwhelmed with donations of so many nice used children’s books,” said Ann Gruenewald, Book Sales chairperson. “Come and help us find them a new home.”
