Full Impact Theater Presents William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing”

Full Impact Theater (FIT) is pleased to announce its 4th Annual Shakespeare in the Park. The war has just ended, but a merry war is about to begin. Put on your blue suede shoes and head out to Shakespeare in the Park. Directed by Rochester’s own Mary Bogrette. Couples are going to rock. Couples are going to roll. And the villains may actually get away with their evil plots unless someone can shake it up, dig it?

Flirtatious and funny, Much Ado About Nothing (or “noting” as Shakespeare may have thought of it) is about the important things we try to take note of, what we think we have taken note of, and times when we mistakenly take note. It may even answer the question—why do fools fall in love! Set in the 1950s, the Navy officers come back to Messina and love and revenge ensue. Love at first sight! Reunited love! A prince… a bitter brother, not in line for the throne… a wedding… and a funeral. Maybe even an Elvis sighting.

Swing on over to Full Impact Theater’s performance of Much Ado About Nothing, July 30 – August 2. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening at 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday Matinees at 2 p.m. Rochester Municipal Park’s Bebout band shell, 400 Sixth Street, Rochester. Tickets are $6 for students and seniors, and $8 for adults.

This is an outdoor event, so bring your own chair or blanket.

Full Impact Theater is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit theater group of area teens ages 13-19. Visit www.FullImpactTheater.org for more information.
