Foodies unite! Downtown Rochester’s Restaurant Week kicks off Friday, August 23 and runs thru Sunday, September 1. This two week event will be the perfect ending to a great summer in Downtown Rochester!

During Restaurant Week, restaurants will offer a variety of special lunch promotions and dinner menus. Lunch will be served daily until 4:00 p.m. and dinner will be served from 4:00 p.m. to close.

At this time, there are 12 participating restaurants. Restaurants fit into two categories; those serving dinner only and those serving both lunch and dinner. Current ‘Dinner Only’ restaurants are the Hibachi House Bar & Grill and The Meeting House. Restaurants serving Lunch & Dinner are Blackbird Bistro featuring Tower Pizza, Brookshire at the Royal Park Hotel, Ganbei Chinese Restaurant & Bar, Kruse & Muer on Main, Mr. B’s Food & Spirits, O’Connor’s Public House, Penn Station East Coast Subs, Penny Black Grill & Tap, Rochester Mills Beer Co., and Rojo Mexican Bistro.

Promotions and menus for participating restaurants will be posted on the official Restaurant Week website as they are received at DowntownRochesterMI.com/restaurantweek. An up-to-date list of participating restaurants also will be available.

Foodies with a sweet tooth should also attend Rochester’s Great American Bake Sale this Saturday, August 17. Over 250 dozen baked goods will be donated for the Bake Sale. This community-wide bake sale will raise funds for the Rochester Regional Service Collaboration which benefits Blessings in a Backpack, Community Kitchen and the Rochester Area Neighborhood House.
