Grab Some Junk in the Trunk at Annual Resale Event in Downtown Rochester

Junk in the Trunk returns to the Farmers’ Market Upper Lot in Downtown Rochester with new and used merchandise from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on June 19.

“We are really excited for the return of Junk in the Trunk,” said Jenna O’Dell, Rochester Downtown Development Authority Events Coordinator. “We have over 50 residents and crafters who are also looking forward to the event. Between area residents, Downtown Rochester businesses, and crafters, there is sure to be an array of resale, new and handmade products.”

What will be for sale? Almost everything. Shoppers can expect residents to have resale items such as furniture, antiques, collectibles, dishes, glassware, and accessories. Handmade crafts include jewelry, wreaths, artwork, décor, and more.

The Rochester Farmers’ Market will also be held at its usual time and place on Saturday, June 19, from 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Farmers’ Market is located at the corner of E. Third & Water, in the lower-level parking lot. With over 30 vendors selling a wide array of produce and specialty foods along with a musical performance by Larry Kwiecinski. Other upcoming Downtown Rochester events include Sidewalk Sales on July 15 – 17; Dancin’ in the Street on July 16, and the Downtown Rochester Movies in the Moonlight series on July 17, 24, 31 and August 7. Event schedules may change based on state and local health and safety guidelines.
