Where else can you have a luscious pancake breakfast at the Community House, walk out the door to an impressive car show, move into by-gone days of Rochester by looking at Rochester–Avon Historical Society vintage photo display and sales booth, hear the wonderful harmony of a Barbershop Quartet? And that’s just for starters!
Mark your calendars for the Greater Rochester Heritage Days held Saturday, May 23 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, May 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Rochester Municipal Park.
In our Heritage Area there will be chair caning, wheel spinning, quilting, old tool display, Oakland Township Historical Society will have plants for sale and the Sons of the American Revolution and Daughters of the American Revolution will have tents. There are other surprises that you will encounter on your walk through the park. If you are hungry there will be plenty of food to satisfy your cravings.
The Great Lakes Timber Guild will have their log rollers to fascinate the crowd, and the Tenth Michigan Infantry will demonstrate their talents. Come and see the many other attractions that the Heritage Days have to offer. Hope to see everyone there!
