On Wednesday, the Rochester Community School (RCS) District released a statement saying they appreciate everyone’s patience and cooperation during the Hamlin Road construction efforts. The statement went on to say that RCS is working closely with the City of Rochester Hills to provide residents with advanced notice about roadway travel restrictions and alternative travel routes.
The City of Rochester Hills will be mailing letters to residents and business owners about the upcoming Hamlin Road travel restrictions and plans to place a programmable electronic display message board in two locations alerting drivers of the construction. One message board will be positioned on Hamlin near Livernois and the second board will be near the Hamlin and Rochester intersection. The school district will communicate information through email messaging.
