‘Herstory’ by Traci Lynn Martin, Just Around the Pointe

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm welcomes World Record Endurance Paddler, Traci Lynn Martin on Thursday, April 19, at 7:00 p.m. Museum Members Free; $5 for nonmembers.

Ms. Martin completed an expedition to circumnavigate all five Great Lakes in one calendar year, battling wind, waves, weather and a severe case of Rheumatoid Arthritis to raise awareness of those with chronic diseases as she has learned to deal with hers. Traci’s story is filled with adventure and human interest as she spent almost an entire year paddling every day. Join us to learn about this inspiring and history-making woman.
