The Rochester Hills Public Library Board of Trustees elected new officers at its Jan. 9 annual meeting.
Madge Lawson was elected president; Anne Kucher, vice-president; Robert Bonam, treasurer; and Anna Biliti, secretary. Also serving on the library board are Chuck Stouffer and Douglas Tull.
The library’s directors are unpaid and are elected by residents of Rochester Hills to six-year terms. They represent Hills residents in the governance of the library. The communities of Rochester and Oakland Township contract with the Rochester Hills Public Library and are represented by non-voting liaisons.

Board meetings are held on the second Monday of the month in the library board room and are open to the public. Meetings begin at 7:30 p.m., October to April and at 8 p.m. May through September.
