Looking for farm fresh flavors this winter? Look no further than the Downtown Rochester Winter Farmers’ Market.
Now open for its fourth season on Thursdays, the market will conveniently take place indoors at the Rochester Fire Department. The Fire Department is located at 277 Second Street, directly across the street from the regular farmers’ market lot.
“We’re excited for the return of the Holiday Farmers’ Market on Thursday evenings. It gives attendees the chance to not only enjoy the market but, a full evening of fun in Downtown Rochester! Enjoy the market, the other shops and restaurants in downtown as well as, The Big, Bright Light Show,” said Taylor Clayton, Market Manager of the Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market. “Take this opportunity to shop with us on Thursday to stock up on farm fresh groceries for the weekend, for a dish to pass or maybe even a holiday gift.”
The market will be taking place from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday November 7 through December 19, with the exception of Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 28.
The Holiday Farmers’ Market will feature a variety of fresh produce and specialty foods, including gourmet coffee, salsa, tamales, chocolates, and French cuisine. As well as, holiday greens, soaps and other artisan specialties.
