Holidays at the School House

Presented by the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm

Enjoy a quick history and tour of the one room school house, then practice your alphabet on a slate board, hop on some stilts, play quoits, master the ball and cup, or sift through old maps and artifacts. Top it off with a holiday paper craft and cookie. We adapted this tour to be family friendly for kids of all ages looking for a hands-on, socially distanced history experience.

Wednesdays

  • 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • November 4, 11, 18, 25         
  • December 2, 9, 16, 23, 30
  • Meet at the Stoney Creek School House, 1051 Washington Road
  • Members: $6/person
  • Non-Members: $9/person
  • Advance Tickets required for all adults and kids
  • Register by noon Fridays
