HOLLY & IVY VICTORIAN TEA & LUNCHEON NOV 7th

The Rochester Community House presents the Twelfth Annual Holly & Ivy, Victorian Tea & Luncheon, Sunday, Nov. 7 from 1-4 p.m.  Doors will open at noon for Boutique and Vendor Shoppers.  Plan to join the community for this event in the warm atmosphere of our Community House.   

This year’s program will include background music by Dick Bourez and Mike Wood.  Dick is a member of the Rochester Community House Board of Directors.  The Gift Boutique will feature many fabulous handcrafted items made by members of the Committee.  In addition, this year the Community House will have several Vendor Tables with a variety of special items set up throughout the boutique.

The Victorian Rose/La Premier Catering will serve a the luncheon including Cranberry Scones,  Grilled Chicken Victorian Rose Salad with Mixed Greens Topped with Dried Cranberries, Mandarin Oranges, Pecans, Grilled Chicken Breast and their Homemade Fresh Raspberry Dressing.  Dessert will be Cheese Cake with Chocolate Swirl.

Raffle items will include three Dickens Villages donated by Mr. and Mrs. Tom DeLozier of Rochester Hills, an American Girl Doll with furniture and a designer handbag. Raffle tickets are available at the Community House.

The Holly & Ivy Fashion Show features classic clothes from Coldwater Creek in The Village of Rochester Hills.  For a little something special, there will be children modeling clothing from Funky Frogs Children’s Resale Boutique.

The Holly & ivy Steering Committee work all year to make this event a success. Committee members are: Sandra Benczik, Edie Haskell, Sandy Krueger, Jean Nicholson, Barbara Thompson and Karen Weaver. Many other volunteers join in to make the event a sell-out.

Ticket price is $35 per person and available for pickup Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Rochester Community House located at 816 Ludlow, Rochester, MI.  All proceeds from this event will benefit further renovation the Rochester Community House building which serves the community through offering a place in the park, as well as the Community Kitchen.
