Huge Success at the 2016 Greens Market

Members of the Rochester Garden Club wish to thank everyone involved with a very successful Greens Market this year. Customers, who turned out in record numbers, purchased hundreds of hand crafted arrangements, fresh greens, crafts and homemade delicacies. Proceeds from the Greens Market allow them to support local conservation efforts, fund college scholarships for high school seniors who major in environmental studies, offer scholarships to middle school students to attend a 4-H summer camp program, support the Van Hoosen Farms Children’s Garden, offer every pre-kindergartener in the Rochester school system a lesson in gardening, perform beautification plantings around the community every spring and much more.

The Rochester Garden Club also wants to offer a special thanks to the staff of the Rochester Schools Administration Center for giving them an opportunity to run their sale in the building. The spacious and well-lit Harrison Room gave them the perfect setting to display the lovely holiday arrangements, crafts and gourmet items. Club members and regular customers appreciated the extra room and lovely ambiance.
