Interpreting Women at Mackinac

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm presents Interpreting Women at Mackinac, a free virtual event, on Wednesday March 10, from 7:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Interpreting the past accurately involves telling the stories of many people. Lee Ann Ewer, interpretive assistant, and Craig Wilson, chief curator, will discuss the specific challenges and rewards of researching and interpreting the lives of women at Mackinac, and how these stories are being incorporated into the wider history of Mackinac State Historic Parks’ museum sites.
