It was reported by WXYZ Detroit that “James Young, who grew up in Rochester Hills, Mich., is getting ready for life in the NBA after being selected by the Boston Celtics at No. 17 on Thursday.
Young shined for the Kentucky Wildcats, where he put on a show with dunks and clutch three-pointers during his time in The Bluegrass State.
Many basketball experts say that Young increased his NBA value during the NCAA tournament after shooting over 40 percent from three-point range to go along with 18.5 points and 6.0 rebounds.
The Rochester High School product is only 18-years-old.”
