Jaycees Announce Return of “Santa’s Mailbox” to Downtown Rochester

Santa’s Mailbox is returning once again to Downtown Rochester. Children of Rochester are invited to mail their letters to Santa by depositing them in the mailbox on the corner of 4th and Main Streets from Sunday, December 8 through Thursday, December 19. Children who drop their letters in the box will receive a letter addressed to them from Santa. Santa’s Mailbox is delivered each year by the Rochester Area Jaycees during the Rochester Hometown Christmas Parade.

About the Rochester Area Jaycees
The Rochester Area Jaycees have a long tradition of service in this community.  Since 1958, the organization has provided the young adults of the Greater Rochester Area with leadership training and promoted the welfare of the community and its citizens through service projects.

Some annual RAJC projects include assembling and delivering Easter baskets to area seniors, running a haunted house in Rochester Municipal Park, and taking underprivileged children shopping to buy gifts for their family during the holidays.

The Jaycees, also known as the Junior Chamber, are individuals dedicated to leadership development, personal and professional growth, and civic involvement.
