A Wickedly Fun Luncheon and Pop-up Boo-tique Shopping Experience
The Meadow Brook Theatre Guild is proud to present its 2nd Annual fundraising event, BeWitched & BeDazzled!
The event will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the beautiful Palazzo Grande Banquet Facility located at 54660 Van Dyke Ave. in Shelby Township. Special Guest Master of Ceremonies, Karen Carter, Chief Forecaster, WWJ-TV CBS Detroit, will be with us all day to make announcements, meet & greet with guests, and announce prize winners! This is a fun-filled and delightfully unique event that will leave guests BeWitched & BeDazzled!
When guests arrive, they will be greeted by MBT Guild members dressed in their finest Witches’ costumes. Guests are encouraged to join in the festivities and dress up too or at least wear their favorite witch’s hat! Costumes and witches’ hats will be judged, with prizes being awarded! Guests will be able to shop the 30 vendors, featuring all the things that ladies like best; jewelry, home décor, clothing, accessories, gift items and much, much more. The ladies (and gentlemen, should they wish to attend) will be able to enjoy hot cider and donuts during the morning check-in time (9:30 – 10:00 a.m.) and enjoy the piano stylings of Ann Sachs.
At 10:00 a.m. the ballroom doors will open and guests are invited in to shop the boo-tiques and enjoy the Silent Auction and Chance Raffle. There will be lots of special and unique items to bid on or to purchase tickets with a “chance” to win.
A delicious lunch/dessert & fun conversation will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. Immediately following lunch, “The Shout Girls” will entertain with songs from the musical, “Wicked” and other Broadway hits that will leave the audience spellbound and wanting more!
Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to win wonderful prizes in our Door Prize Raffle, Silent Auction and Chance Raffle. Winners announced at 1:30 p.m. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase a limited number of one-of-a-kind handcrafted succulent pumpkin centerpieces. Attendees will have the chance to finish last minute shopping between 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Meadow Brook Theatre Guild is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to promote community interest in theatre and to provide service and support to Meadow Brook Theatre. We have been in existence for over 30 years and are the theatre’s largest contributor. Through our fund-raisers we have been able to purchase many items needed by the theatre, help provide scholarships and sponsor plays. We also provide meals for the technical crew during dress rehearsals, create welcome baskets for out-of-town actors, sponsor meet and greets for actors and crew, and decorate the lobby for various plays.
As Michigan’s flagship professional theatre for the past 43 years, Meadow Brook Theatre and its Community Outreach Programs, has been recognized by the Michigan Council for the Arts and Cultural Affairs as an Anchor Arts Organization. More than 20,000 students have attended its award-winning educational programs or participated in technical on-site intern programs.
