Kick of the Holiday Season at the Celebration of Dreams with The Rainbow Connection

The Rainbow Connection hosts its Wish Child Fashion Show & Gifts Galore Silent Auction to make dreams come true for Michigan children with life threatening illnesses.

The holidays are a magical time for families around the world. Here in Michigan, The Rainbow Connection celebrates the magic with the annual Celebration of Dreams fundraiser for children battling life threatening illnesses on Sunday, November 20 at the San Marino Club in Troy.

Featuring a Wish Child Fashion Show, Gifts Galore Silent Auction, dinner and cocktails, Celebration of Dreams “kicks off the holiday season for us and many of our Wish Families,” explains Rainbow Connection Executive Director Mary Grace McCarter. “It is our opportunity to celebrate the wonder of the children we are here to help and all we have accomplished throughout the year with old friends and new friends.”

Awarded the highest rating, four stars by Charity Navigator, The Rainbow Connection makes dreams come true for children with life threatening illnesses and provides support services to their families. From a magical trip to Disney World to biking down volcanoes in Hawaii to meeting the President of the United States, The Rainbow Connection has made dreams come true for more than 3,000 children and anticipates making dreams come true for more than 150 children in 2016.
