Knights of Columbus Host Fish Fry Fridays at Rochester Community House

The Knights of Columbus #5452 of Rochester will host a Lenten Fish Fry 5-7:30 p.m. on Fridays, March 11 through April 22. Each week, the fish fry will be at the Rochester Community House, 816 Ludlow in Rochester,  where the group also holds its council meetings on the second Tuesday of each month.

The Father Baumgartner Council of Rochester provides its members and their families the opportunity to serve their community and their church. Guided by the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic fraternal service organization. Founded in the United States in 1882, it is named in honor of Christopher Columbus. There are more than 1.8 million members in 15,000 councils, with nearly 200 councils on college campuses. Membership is open to all practicing Catholic men age 18 or older. The order has donated more than $1.3 billion to charities in the past 10 years alone and performs about 70 million hours of volunteer service each year.
