Continuing the Rochester Area Prayer Breakfast tradition at its new location, this year’s inspirational message will be delivered by keynote speaker Krish Dhanam at The Royal Park Hotel in downtown Rochester on Thursday, May 3, 2012.
Born in South India, Krish came to America to realize his dream and his potential. He speaks to thousands in need of a reminder of just how precious life and freedom are; Krish inspires and informs his audiences with a fresh perspective, a passionate style, and knowledge beyond his years. “We’re excited about the move to the Royal Park Hotel for the Prayer Breakfast featuring Krish Dhanam – he’s a dynamic speaker, coach and author” said Thom Welch, chairperson.
Krish Dhanam is the author of “The American Dream from an Indian Heart,” and contributing author to Top Performance written by Zig Ziglar. Krish resides in Texas where he is married to Anila and together they have a son, Nicolas. As a volunteer he sits on the board of the Greater Dallas Indo-American Chamber of Commerce. Krish is also actively involved in his church, where he teaches a large Sunday school class and regularly speaks in prisons sharing his message.
In addition to the keynote speaker, Prayer Breakfast participants will enjoy a European-style breakfast menu, complimentary shuttle service from area parking lots and special room rates at the Royal Park Hotel; valet parking will be available for a fee.
The Rochester Area Prayer Breakfast is an annual, non-denominational event held in recognition of the National Day of Prayer, instituted in 1952 by a joint resolution of Congress and then-President Harry S. Truman. This year’s event sponsor is Crittenton Hospital Medical Center. Tickets are available for purchase; contact the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce at (248) 651-6700 for more information.
