Livernois Reconstruction Project in Rochester Hills Expected to Start June 19

Livernois Road Reconstruction

The Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC), in partnership with the City of Rochester Hills, expects to begin reconstruction on Livernois Road, from Avon Road to Walton Road, on June 19.

Construction is expected to be completed in late November.

Last year, RCOC performed heavy maintenance work on this section of Livernois Road to keep the road drivable until the 2019 reconstruction.

This approximately $5.6 million reconstruction project is funded with a mix of federal and local dollars. Local funding is shared by RCOC, Rochester Hills and Oakland County general government (through the Tri-Party Program). The prime contractor for this project is Pro-Line Asphalt of Washington Township, MI.
