Stewart Team Real Estate Partners Awards First Rochester College Student with the Annual Stewart Team Real Estate Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship

Oakland County based real estate firm, Stewart Team, recently announced a scholarship program in partnership with Rochester College aimed to help students majoring in social entrepreneurship.
“Giving back to our community is at the core of Stewart Team’ mission,” said Kevin Stewart, Broker/Owner and Team Leader, Stewart Team. “When Rochester College, my alma mater, launched The Center for Social Entrepreneurship, we knew we would want to be involved in helping to share our passion for philanthropy with future entrepreneurs.”
Rochester College launched its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) with a social entrepreneurship major in 2015. The Center for Social Entrepreneurship prepares students to apply principles from business to help create or manage a government, for-profit and nonprofit enterprise that addresses challenging, social issues.
Through funding from Rochester-based Stewart Team Real Estate Partners, Rochester College was able to offer this scholarship to students currently enrolled in the social entrepreneurship program, or students who accepted an offer to Rochester College, declaring social entrepreneurship as their major.
Awarded in the fall of 2018, Clarkston resident, Rilee Liebler, is the first recipient of the $5000 Stewart team Real Estate Social Entrepreneurship Scholarship. Liebler is currently a sophomore at Rochester College, majoring in social entrepreneurship.
“Rilee has a servant’s heart and is a great addition to the social entrepreneurship program,” said Jaymes Vettraino, assistant professor and director of the Center for Social Entrepreneurship at Rochester College. “Her business-minded focus, and commitment to helping others in the community made her an ideal candidate to win the award. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for her, and we look forward to working with her.”
