ROCHESTER, Mich. – June 7, 2011 – The summer event season in downtown Rochester is upon us! With the return of some old favorites and some new events, there’s sure to be a little something for everyone to enjoy this summer. Downtown Rochester Farmers’ Market: Saturdays, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm, E. Third & Water Streets
The Farmers’ Market is proud to feature fresh produce, flowers and other products exclusive to Michigan.
Thursday’s Rock in Rochester: Thursdays through Aug. 25, 5:30 pm to dusk, Rochester Athletic Club, 637 N. Main
Every Thursday, enjoy a slice of American culture as classic cars are displayed in downtown Rochester.
Movies in the Moonlight: Saturday, July 9, 16, 23 & 31, 8:30 pm – 11:00 pm, E. Third & Water Streets

Bring your chairs, blankets and pillows and enjoy a movie under the stars. Admission is free.
Sidewalk Sales: Thursday and Friday, July 14 & 15, 10:00 am – 9:00 pm and Saturday, July 16, 10:00 am – 6:00 pm
Come one – come all! And visit the awesome assemblage of stupendous sellers at the 56th annual Downtown Rochester Sidewalk Sales! It’s a circus down here! New to Sidewalk Sales is “Rudolph’s Rummage Sale,” a sale of gently used Holiday and Christmas décor to benefit The Big, Bright Light Show. Donations for “Rudolph’s Rummage Sale” are being accepted at the DDA office.
