Oakland Township Parks and Recreation Commission invites guests to visit Marsh View Park on Saturday, September 9, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. to celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of the Archery Range. Located at 3100 E. Clarkston Road, Oakland, MI 48363.
Marsh View Park Archery Range
The archery range grand re-opening celebrates the expansion of the range’s maximum shooting distance from 45 yards to 90 meters. This expansion allows us to offer a wider variety of programs from beginning to Junior Olympic Archery Development, recreation and competitive leagues and host school teams and special events as well as USA Archery sanctioned tournaments.
Additionally, we’ve added a new paved parking lot at the western-most end of the park to service the range.
The celebration is in conjunction with our annual family-friendly Goodison Good Tyme fall festival. Activities include kite decorating and flying, Amazon zip line, rock wall, face painters, balloon artists, hot dogs and chips. All activities are free.
