Meadow Brook Theatre’s 2025-2026 season has something for everyone. With a mystery, a comedy, true life stories, and Rock ‘n Roll. This season is filled with fun, laughter, and tunes to make you tap your toes.

On July 11, 2025, Meadow Brook Theatre will hold a one-night-only concert by Jumping Jack Flash, THE Rolling Stones tribute band, at its ninth annual Concert & Cuisine Benefit. The pre-concert event features tastings by featured local restaurants, beer, wine, and cocktails all provided with the price of your ticket. Fundraising opportunities include the culmination of the months-long online auction, an in-person auction, and raffles to round out the fun-filled event. The 59th season gets off to a mysterious start on October 8 with Catch Me If You Can by Jack Weinstock and Willie Gilbert. Based on the play by Robert Thomas and overflowing with mirth, this Broadway whodunit is exciting from beginning to end. A Michigan advertising man, who has brought his bride to the boss’s mountain lodge for a honeymoon, calls in the local police to investigate her sudden disappearance. Enter a pretty young girl who insists over his protests that she is the missing wife. A priest backs up her story. A funny little man who owns a delicatessen enters, and before you know it, there are two murders at the isolated lodge. Don’t miss your opportunity to be the first to crack the case in this exciting and hilarious mystery, which closes on November 2, 2025.
The season then breaks for the 43rd annual holiday production of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, adapted by Charles Nolte, running November 21 – December 24, 2025. Subscribers to the MBT season receive a 20% discount for tickets to A Christmas Carol.
We shimmy and slide into the new year when All Shook Up rocks onto the stage from January 7 – February 1, 2026. This crowd-pleasing musical is inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley® with book by Joe Dipietro. It’s 1955, and into a square little town in a square little state rides a guitar-playing young man who changes everything and everyone he meets in this hip-swiveling, lip-curling musical fantasy that’ll have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”. Join Meadow Brook Theatre and the students of Oakland University’s School of Music, Theatre, & Dance as we collaborate to have you rocking and rolling through January.
As winter fades into spring, our next three shows bring true-to-life stories to our stage. What the Constitution Means to Me: a play by Heidi Schreck; Come From Away: book, music and lyrics by Irene Sankoff and David Hein; and Million Dollar Quartet: book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux Original Concept and Direction by Floyd Mutrux.
What the Constitution Means to Me stems from the experiences of how fifteen-year-old Heidi Schreck paid her college tuition by speaking in debate competitions across the country; now older, she tells the story of four generations of extraordinary women in her family whose lives were shaped by the Constitution. Heidi Schreck’s hilarious, hopeful, and achingly human play breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. What the Constitution Means to Me will run from February 11 through March 8.
Come From Away is a true story set during the 9/11 attacks. Thirty-eight planes and 6,579 passengers were forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, doubling the population of one small town on the edge of the world. Based on interviews with locals, this show explores how hosting this international community of strangers spurred unexpected camaraderie in extraordinary circumstances. Come From Away takes the stage from March 18 to April 22.
Audiences will once again be dancing in their seats from April 22 – May 17, 2026, as we bring to life the story of the Million Dollar Quartet. On December 4, 1956: an extraordinary twist of fate brings Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever, with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations that are both poignant and funny. Relive the era with the smash-hit sensation featuring an incredible score, including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “Hound Dog,” and more.
The season will leave you laughing as the zany antics of Always a Bridesmaid by Jones Hope Wooten comes to the Meadow Brook stage from May 27 to June 21. On the night of their senior prom, Libby Ruth, Deedra, Monette, and Charlie promise that they will be bridesmaids in one another’s weddings… no matter what. Now, more than thirty years later, these Southern gals are still making “the long walk” for each other, determined to honor that vow. ‘For better or for worse’ takes on a whole new meaning in this delicious comedy about old friends, from the writers of The Golden Girls and Kingdom Come.

When you subscribe to the 2025-2026 season, you may also purchase tickets for A Christmas Carol at a 20% discount before they go on sale to the general public. The 6 Flex-Tickets special is also on sale for $234. These tickets can be used on any show at any time, including using more than one ticket on the same night for multiple attendees. Redemption of Flex-Tickets is based on availability at the time of calling to reserve.
Single tickets go on sale Monday, August 25, at 10:00 a.m. Tickets range from $40 to $48 for individual plays.
