Meadow Brook Theatre Guild presents the 37th Annual Luncheon on the Aisle 2018

A Delightfully Fun and Unique Theatrical Experience

The Meadow Brook Theatre (MBT) Guild is proud to present its longest running, and most beloved fundraising event, Luncheon on the Aisle (LOA) 2018. The event will be held on Thursday, April 26, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Meadow Brook Theatre located at 207 Wilson Hall located on the campus of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.

When guests arrive, they will be greeted by MBT Guild members and receive their event programs, highlighting the day’s events.

Guests will also be able to purchase, and enjoy, homemade goodies from the LOA Bake Shoppe, while they checkout the baskets for the Basket Raffle. This year’s baskets include lots of getaways; including a Chicago Weekend with tickets to see Hamilton the Musical, Mackinaw Island, Traverse City, and the Stratford Festival. Tickets for the Basket Raffle can be purchased the day of Luncheon on the Aisle, as well as prior to the event through Guild Members.

Guests will have the chance to win a piece of jewelry valued at over $1000, in the Jewelry Raffle. There will be a very limited number of cards sold for a chance to win.

Guests will receive box lunches they may enjoy from their theatre seats starting at 11:30 a.m.

After lunch, Door Prizes will be awarded, and winners of the Basket and Jewelry Raffles will be announced.

Attendees will then enjoy the highlight of the event, a working rehearsal of the play, The All Night Strut, featuring scenes and music that will move through the Depression, World War II, and the post-war boom in a two-act musical celebration of the 1930’s and 1940’s. Filled with jazz, blues, and American songbook standards, the audience will be treated to a walk down memory lane.

Group tickets are $30/guest. All seats are reserved. No online sales for this event. Special dietary needs must be ordered at the time of ticket purchase. Based on previous years, this event will sell out.
