Message From Rick Snyder

Rick Snyder writes, “I want to share with you our plans going forward leading up to victory on Election Day. Our next town hall is this Tuesday, August 17, in Chelsea. We’re continuing to take the Reinvent Michigan message across the state. I invite you to attend and welcome your questions and feedback about my plans to Reinvent Michigan. As future events are scheduled, details will be available here.

Early research shows that our message is resonating extremely well with Republicans, Independents and Democrats. This is encouraging news for our team and supporters but we must continue to stay focused. Our opponent in this election is a Lansing insider career politician with a large amount of special interest resources backing his campaign. Reinventing Michigan will require your continued support. Here are some ways you can help:

  • Sign up to volunteer on our campaign
  • Spread the word by forwarding this e-mail to your contacts and refer them to our website
  • Donate to help us stand up to special interests

As governor, I will bring my positive, commonsense vision and reforms to our state government. Your passion and belief that we can accomplish great things are what make this possible. Lets win together.”

Rick Snyder today welcomed the endorsement of the Small Business Association of Michigan, saying he is honored to be supported by the voice of Main Street. SBAM represents more than 10,000 small businesses across the state.

“We need to give small businesses the support they need so they can grow and create jobs and help our communities thrive. Unfortunately, what we’ve had for the past eight years is a government that often seems like it goes out of the way to stop small businesses from growing,” Snyder said. “I’ve got a 10-point plan to Reinvent Michigan and once again make our state a leader of innovation and job creation.”
