Michigan Legislature to Tackle Road Funding this Week – Citizens Urged to Call Legislators

The Michigan Legislature is back in session this week to tackle road funding following a statewide landslide ballot initiative loss to increase transportation revenue back in May.

Dennis Kolar, Road Commission for Oakland County (RCOC) Managing Director urges citizens to call their members of the House and Senate to express opinions on the road funding dilemma. Key House Bills 4612, 4613, and 4615 are currently being debated in Lansing.

Information on the legislation being debated can be found here.
