A free event for all athletes, their families, and public supporters. It will include free food from Detroit BBQ Company, Live Music, inflatables, vendor tables, torch lighting ceremony, and more. This Opening Ceremony for the Michigan Senior Olympics with be held at the Rochester Municipal Park on Friday, August 11, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., a new location this year due to the closure of Bloomer Park (where the event is traditionally held).
