Mini Market Fun Begins in Downtown Rochester May 21!

MIMHead to Downtown Rochester for Mini Market Thursdays beginning May 21 in the Rochester Lions Park. Mini Market Thursdays is an outdoor mini market featuring Made-In-Michigan products. The market will be held the third Thursday of every month, May through August: May 21, June 18, July 16 and August 20 from 4 – 7 p.m.

The Rochester Lions Park is located behind Rochester Mills Beer Company on the west side of the Paint Creek across from the Royal Park Hotel. The park sits on the Paint Creek Trail and is steps away from a creek access point. “We’re so excited to host an event in the Lions Park”, said Stephanie Hellebuyck, events coordinator at the Rochester Downtown Development Authority. “We hope that Mini Market Thursdays bring attention to all the wonderful outdoor activities Downtown Rochester has to offer.”

Event attendees can expect to see fresh Michigan produce and/or flowers at the market, along with specialty food, local crafts and gifts. Rochester Mills Beer Co. will be grilling burgers, brats and dogs so that families can enjoy the scenery while grabbing a bite to eat. Other activities include live musical entertainment, trail and waterway education, a giant colorable mural for kids, kids craft provided by Dinosaur Hill, Fly Fishing demonstrations, bike helmet checks, and more!

Mini Market Thursdays is presented by Lincoln of Troy.
