All Aboard! 2017 Model Train Exhibit
The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm’s Calf Barn, has been transformed this holiday season by the Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club. The 55 ft. by 25 ft. exhibit fills the entire Calf Barn with HO gauge trains that travel high and low, past countryside and cities, over bridges and through tunnels, with each miniature module telling a different story with great care and attention to detail. A camera mounted on the engine also shows the “engine’s eye view” of the trip – 300 feet of track.
Members of the Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club will operate these fabulous trains, sharing their love for one of the greatest hobbies in the world. This annual display is open to the public from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the following dates:
- December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30
Museum Members are free. Please consider supporting local historical preservation by becoming a member of the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm. The cost for non-members is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens.
