More Road Construction in the Rochester Area!

ROAD:                       Walton Blvd. from east of Adams Road to Great Oaks Blvd.

Project:                       RCOC is resurfacing this road. During the project, at least one lane of Walton in each direction will remain open at all times, but motorists may experience some backups, especially during rush hours.

Completion Date:      By Aug. 12

 

ROAD:                       Crooks Road, just north and south of M-59 (from Austin Street to Star-Batt Drive)

Project:                       The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) is resurfacing and widening this section of Crooks to five lanes as part of the widening of the Crooks Road bridge over  M-59. During the work, Crooks is reduced to a single lane in each direction between Austin and Star-Batt. The new M-59 overpass will be four lanes, and two new loop ramps are being added at the interchange to eliminate left turns. The ramps at the interchange are being slightly reconfigured and reconstructed.

ROAD:                       Parkdale Road between Letica Drive and Dequindre Road 

Project:                       This section of Parkdale is closed while RCOC replaces the Parkdale Road bridge over the Stony Creek. Throughout the project, the detour route for through traffic is Dquindre Road to Avon Road to Rochester Road/Main Street to Romeo Road and back to Parkdale and vice versa.
