Grab the family and head to Downtown Rochester on Saturday, June 13 for the kick off the popular Movies in the Moonlight. This season there will be four fun filled nights of movies spread across three summer months!
The 2015 Movies Schedule is:
- June 13: Paddington (PG) Presented by Edward Jones
- July 11: Jurassic Park (PG-13) Presented by Goldfish Swim School
- July 25: Big Hero 6 (PG) Presented by Anderson, Eckstein and Westrick, Inc.
- August 8: The Lego Movie (PG) Presented by Goldfish Swim School
Movies rated PG-13 are edited versions whenever possible, however parental guidance is still recommended. Pre- shows for this season include story time with Rochester Hills Public Library on June 13, dinosaur dig with Dinosaur Hill on July 11, a create-your-own Baymax station on July 25, and a visit from the Robot Garage on August 8.
Movies in the Moonlight is located in the parking lot at the corner of E. Third & Water, one block east of Main. Featured movies begin at dusk (approximately 9:15 pm) and pre-shows start at 8:30 pm. Admission is free, so arrive early for the best seating. Movies in the Moonlight is BYOC (Bring Your Own Chairs)! Popcorn, candy, hot dogs and soft drinks will be available for purchase at the Rochester Lions Club concession wagon, but you are welcome to bring your own goodies, too (no alcohol or glass containers allowed).
Downtown Rochester’s Movies in the Moonlight is presented by Anderson, Eckstein and Westrick, Inc., Edward Jones and Goldfish Swim School.
