Museum marks Veterans Day

This year marks the beginning of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. To commemorate this anniversary and Veterans Day, the Rochester Hills Museum is presenting a guided tour of the Civil War Veterans buried in Stoney Creek Cemetery on Saturday November 12. The tour includes a scavenger hunt on the Civil War veterans buried in the cemetery and an optional memorial flower ceremony.

The tour will start at the museum’s dairy barn. Participants will walk about half a mile uphill to the cemetery. Wear comfortable shoes and warm cloths. Limited space is available. To register, call (248) 656-4663 or
