The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm and the Detroit Arsenal of Democracy are hosting an exhibit now through May 12 of World War II memorabilia, featuring airborne units.
The exhibit will culminate in activities on Friday, May 11 from 3-7 p.m. and Saturday, May 12 from 9-4 p.m. The Saturday event will feature vehicles, lectures, battles, weapon demonstrations and a symposium featuring World War II soldiers involved in various airborne units.
A complete schedule of events will be posted on the museum website before the event at www.rochesterhills.org.
The museum is open Fridays and Saturdays from 1-4 p.m. and at other times for group tours. It’s located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, off Tienken between Rochester and Dequindre roads. For more information call 248.656.4663.
