The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will present Brilliant Bats on Friday, October 14 at 7 p.m. featuring live bats from The Organization for Bat Conservation at Cranbrook Institute of Science. The presentation will be followed by an indoor scavenger hunt in the museum’s dairy barn and a short outdoor walk through the museum grounds using a bat detector. Participants should dress for the weather and bring a flashlight.
Admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students (free for museum members). The museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, off Tienken Road between Rochester and Dequindre Roads. Register by Oct. 13 by calling (248) 656-4663 or e-mailing rhmuseum@rochesterhills.org.
