Museum to host Michigan Train Depot Lecture

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm will host a program on Michigan train depots by architects Jackie Hoist and Ron Campbell on Saturday, December 11 at 1:00 p.m.  Jackie and Ron have published a new book titled Destination Depots, Lighthouses Along The River of Steel.  The lecture compliments the Museum’s current train exhibit by the Stoney Creek Model Railroad Club and guests can tour the Dairy Barn, Van Hoosen Farmhouse, and Red House which are all decorated for the holidays.  Admission to the Museum and the lecture is free for Museum members, $5 adults and $3 seniors and students.  Please call 248.656.4663 to register.  The Museum is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, one mile east of Rochester Road off Tienken Road. Visit the Museum website for more information at www.rochesterhills.org
