Neighborhood House Is Turning 50 and Celebrating the Big Day with A Car Show and A Birthday Party
On September 16, at Canterbury Village in Lake Orion, Michigan, Neighborhood House will be hosting a celebration, starting with a car show from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m., followed by a dinner party from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. The car show is free and open to the public, and dinner tickets to the dinner party are available for $115.
“This is a wonderful way for us to celebrate the work we’ve done and will continue to do,” Kathy Losinski, Executive Director, Neighborhood House, said. “We are so excited to have reached this landmark and are looking forward to the next 50 years.”
Neighborhood House is a human service organization that assists its neighbors in times of hardship. They collaborate with the community and other social service providers to help those neighbors with emotional or financial assistance. Their mission is to help neighbors from crisis into self-sufficiency. Neighborhood House believes that “neighbors helping neighbors” is the model of a strong community.
The car show will feature classic and exotic cars and includes prizes, trophies, as well as gift bags, dash plaques, and a t-shirt with the $25 registration. There will also be a 50/25/25 raffle, a DJ and food on-site. The party will include dinner and an open bar, music, and a silent auction.
