New Day Foundation Golf Outing to be Hosted by Great Oaks Country Club 

As part of a new Great Oaks GIVES partnership, Great Oaks Country Club will host a golf outing to benefit New Day Foundation for Families on Monday, June 19, to benefit local families facing cancer.  

New Day Foundation for Families, based in Rochester, is pleased to be selected by Great Oaks Gives as their local charity partner this year.  The mission of Great Oaks Gives is to “promote and deliver the volunteer engagement and support of the Great Oaks family for the betterment of the communities in which we live.” Great Oaks Gives annually selects one charity to support via various fund raisers throughout the year and additionally engages in multiple volunteer activities for “hands-on” community support from club members and staff. New Day is honored to partner with Great Oaks Country Club this season.

New Day Foundation Golf Outing to be Hosted by Great Oaks Country Club

Register for the golf outing online at https://www.foundationforfamilies.org/new-day-foundation-golf-outing/ or email amber@greatoakscc.com for more information. Registration and lunch begin at 11:30 a.m. with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start. The cost is $200 per golfer, or $800 per foursome, and includes lunch, golf, drinks on the course, open bar during cocktail hour, heavy hors d’oeuvre stations, 50/50 raffle and more.

New Day Foundation for Families

A 2017 Top-Rated NonProfit by GreatNonprofits and Silver Level Guidestar organization, is a Rochester, Michigan, nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the effects of financial toxicity and emotional stress caused by cancer. Their programs are intended to have a positive impact on treatment outcomes and survivorship. New Day offers financial grants in the form of short term bill payment services, as well as emotional support programs for families who have children under the age of 18 in the home as they face the burdens that accompany the diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
