New exhibits at Rochester Hills Museum highlighting local artists

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is featuring a new temporary exhibit, Painting the Past, which is on display from Friday, June 14 through Saturday, August 31, 2013. The Museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. and admission is $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students (K‐12). Museum Members are free!

Painting the Past exhibit features seven local artists’ works of art. The paintings depict the Rochester Hills Museum grounds or building as well as scenes from the Rochester Branch of the WNFGA and Rochester Hills Museum’s annual Garden Walk.

The exhibit is located in the adaptively reused 1927 Van Hoosen Dairy Barn and is self‐guided. Guided tours of our 1840 Farmhouse and 1850 Red House are available during our Open Hours or by appointment.

The Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm is located at 1005 Van Hoosen Road, one mile east of Rochester Road and south of Tienken Road.
