Nutty Performers Present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast” at Meadow Brook Theatre

Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast,” the stage musical adaptation of the full-length animated classic movie will come alive on the Meadow Brook Theatre stage on August 3, 4, and 5.

Peanut Gallery Players, a 501(c)(3) non-profit children’s theatre training program, invites the public to “Be Our Guest” and watch what over 76 actors, singers, and dancers ages 6-18 from Oakland and Macomb Counties have been rehearsing for since June.

The 76 member cast features Sara Ross Avery (Rochester) as Belle, Alexander Cousins (Clarkston) as Beast, Jason Donaven (Lake Orion) as Gaston, Alex Cook (Rochester) as Lumiere, Brooke Candella (Rochester Hills) as Cogsworth, Katie Lane-Waters (Rochester) as Mrs. Potts, Ari Bigelman (Bloomfield Hills) as Chip, as well as other animatedly enchanted objects in the castle, and a host of assorted and sundry characters in the village.

Tickets are $15 for Adults and $12 for Students and Seniors. Groups of 12 or more should call for group discounts. Tickets are available by calling 248-885-5129, online at www.PeanutGalleryPlayers.org or at the door on performance days two hours before curtain. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 3 and Friday, August 4, with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on Saturday, August 5.
