O Christmas Tree, Let’s Recycle Your Branches

Christmas is right around the corner, and if you’ve had your tree up since Thanksgiving and can’t wait to take it down, there’s good news. The City of Rochester Hills is offering free Christmas tree recycling for residents.

Only real trees will be accepted and they must be free of lights, ornaments, and other decorations. Residents can drop off trees from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 27 and Saturday, January 3, 2015; as well as noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 28 and  Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the Clinton River Watershed Council, located at 1115 W. Avon Road.

You can also recycle those pesky holiday lights at the Rochester Hills municipal offices located at 1000 Rochester Hills Drive.
