Oakland County Deputy in Critical Condition After Being Struck by a Motorist

An Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputy was hit by a passing car this morning at 7:40 a.m. in front of Rochester Adams High School on Tienken Rd. east of Adams Rd. in the City of Rochester Hills. The Deputy was policing another car accident which had occurred earlier at that location when a second accident occurred. He was policing the second accident when a passing car struck him while he was outside of his patrol car.

The Oakland County Deputy was transported to Ascension Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills by the Rochester Hills Fire Department. He is currently in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.

Deputy David Hack, age 50, is a 17 year veteran of the Sheriff’s Office who is assigned as a School Liaison Deputy at Rochester Adams High School.
