Oakland County Employment Agencies Host Regional Career/Job Expo

It was announced today that more than 1,500 skilled and unskilled workers seeking employment in the knowledge-based, service and manufacturing industries are expected to attend the Regional Career/Job Expo on Thursday, May 14 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Petruzzello’s Banquet and Conference Center, 6950 Rochester Road, in Troy. The Oakland County Employment Diversity Council (OCEDC), Oakland County Michigan Works, and Automation Alley are hosting the event, which features over two dozen companies.

Employers from financial services companies; IT, high tech and computer firms; retail stores; restaurants; hotels; law enforcement; healthcare and nursing; security agencies; manufacturers; and other service related companies are expected to be on hand. The companies at the Regional Career/Job Expo are located in Troy, Pontiac, Rochester, Southfield, Detroit and other communities spanning, Oakland, Wayne and Macomb counties and the Automation Alley corridor.
